About DrumWise

Our lessons take place at the DrumWise studio in Maidstone, termly in schools throughout Kent and virtually using Zoom. To date, our youngest student started lessons aged 4 and our oldest is still drumming at 95!

There is no need to block book or pay for multiple lessons as we offer a pay as you learn service. One-off lessons are available for beginners that want to see if drumming is for them or more advanced players who want to brush up on their skills.

The content of lessons is tailored to the individual’s requirements which includes following the DrumWise syllabus, learning different styles of drumming, learning songs, improving technique, working towards Duke of Edinburgh Awards (DofE) and Rockschool graded exams. Our tutors are highly experienced teachers and players that are fully DBS checked and can offer advice to students about everything related to drumming.

Our unique DrumWise syllabus includes hundreds of worksheets and song transcriptions plus original play-along backing tracks which are available for free to all DrumWise students (who have at least one lesson per month) through our password-protected Student Area. Please Contact us if you don’t have lessons with us and would like access (an annual subscription of £35).
